20160610 Mums Birthday and Business

After lots of cycling and cake eating, it’s refreshing to have a change of scenery, pace and content for a few days – well that’s the plan!
Starting off the tour was celebrating my Mums 80th Birthday with my Brother and family, we even caught her having a go on a scooter, since she was missing out on her daily bike ride! IMG_5553 IMG_5562 IMG_5563

Then travelling about to facilitate a business training with Steve Smith in Leicester, with Satie Punglia in B’ham, a workshop in Essex, back to the Midlands and enjoying a free meal and drink with lots of other successful business builders. Not forgetting catching up briefly with the one and only Mr Fabulous – Chris Williams while at the B’ham events.IMG_9507 IMG_9482 IMG_9447 IMG_9445 IMG_9439

To ensure I wasn’t suffering from cake withdrawal, my Mum invited me round for an afternoon tea and it was perfect!    IMG_5934

Finished off the tour with a final facilitating/training during the day with super Sue, Sue Tonks! Then in the evening, presenting our Business Opportunity to some guests who were investigating if it might be something for them?

So what did I gain from the travelling and various meetings?   Well to start with, it’s always good to see that there are people out there being proactive and checking out their options.  You certainly can’t change your future without changing something and some research is a good way to start.  There are many options out there and it’s a real pleasure to meet people who are in the process of researching and I do my best to understand what they are looking for.  Sadly for some taking tentative steps, they seek advice to help with what they are investigating from uninformed friends.  What do I mean here, well unless their friends have reached the point where they want to change their lives, take a few risks, etc, they are not going to be on anything like the same wavelength!  For me the summary was that even while in ‘teaching/training’ mode, I learnt plenty from my fellow trainers or the trainees. So big than you to them!
