20160516 Llubi and Costitx

Sun 15th was the easier day after the Mountains, so we did a loop round Llubi and Muro. Later start, sunshine, gently undulating and great banter.

Did anyone mention lots of ‘selfies’!

Mon 16th was the last day and a ride to Sineu via the quiet and pretty Costitx.

To maximise new roads and views, we headed the shortest way to the ‘Pipe Road’ area to then enjoy the quiet lanes around Jornets, the surprise hill into Costitx (sorry – but it’s a great view!).

Then the ups and downs across to Lloret with the final dash (blame Zuzana) into Sineu. As Jonathan hadn’t been to Sineu before, he underwent the initiation of doing a few laps of the velodrome before relaxing at Bar Triquet, otherwise known as ‘Mr Marvellous’ bar.

Is that Moss starting a sneak attack up the inside of Jonathan!!

Problems with Pistols food order – not enough eggs available today!

The enjoyable route back, short, super smooth surface to Muro, then track across the fields to finish with the back lane into the Port. Completing the really enjoyable few days, the last few Selfies in Pro cycle Hire.

Most enjoyable few days with Gearoid, Moss, Jonathan and Suzanne with great support from ‘Pistol’ Pete and Zuzana. Until the next time!
