20160728 New Look Bike Frames and Planning 3Q16
Comfortable flight back and used the time wisely by getting started on a new book, this one “Black Box Thinking” by Matthew Syed. Really enjoying it so far. Back in the Port and the first task was to rebuild the bikes after their custom respray by Fernando of Ferdesigns.com. Actually, slight error, first task was check in at the Sea Bar Is for cake! I changed my domain from the previous “save-u-lots.com”, as the majority of people I spoke with said that they had assumed that I was a financial advisor or similar and so were hesitant to ask me what I did! Let’s see how this one holds up in practice!

And Zuzana’s frame now reflects her business. If you know anyone who wants to lose some weight and more importantly learn how to keep it off and continue to lose more, then this is the place to go to! Check out her website for more details http://www.stayfitbreakfree.com

Met some great new friends while helping out with the PCH rides and we did a few unplanned group rides to share some quiet or new routes or just do some of the favourite ones. Simon Jodrell, Julian Howell, Dave Bramley, Aidan O’Connor, Ted Aston, Marc Wilson, Richard Eglon and Pon Pett to name but a few! One of the other tasks for July was to think about purpose, focus and where to direct energies, so this was background thinking while cycling and socialising. The direction that this has taken is to figure out how better to help others more – by that I mean to help them achieve their important life goals and make a difference. So to paraphrase a quote – “State it or tell the world and then figure out how to do it!” Step one done! Next steps will help to shape up the 3Q activities.
Palms Bar – One of the local favourite places to meet friends, listen to some great tribute bands, count cycling jerseys on the walls and enjoy yourself. We had a very enjoyable evening in here with Aidan and Teds families while the Abba tribute was in full swing. Well worth a visit and owned by the ever present and busy Brian and Tracy.

My rest day was riding to Sa Calobra with Aidan and Ted – great fun and well done guys!

Lovely surprise for the riders today as Team Sky’s Ben Swift set off with us before going off to do proper training!

Thinking time to plan the coming days.
